I have been in the travel industry for 47 years and started my career in Honolulu, HI before moving to San Francisco. I actually was attending classes in computer programming and just randomly sat at a travel class. I found it interesting and eventually switched subjects. The rest is history! I found the idea of exploring different destinations, experiencing different cultures and meeting interesting people along the way quite fascinating. I was drawn to taking up the travel experience to higher degree with luxury travel experiences and engaging with partnerships in the industry that help fulfill these intentions. In my previous company, we established a Concierge team and services that catered to these select clients. It became the fastest growing department and the highest grossing. I hope to continue on the same path as I re-establish myself with Plaza Travel.

After my first trip overseas at the age of twelve and lots of traveling after that, I decided that I wanted to be in the travel industry. I began my career in 1985 and have loved every minute of it. Before graduating from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, I lived in Heidelberg, Germany for a year while studying abroad. After graduating, I joined the Peace Corps and lived in Micronesia for two years. I have traveled to so many beautiful places but my absolute favorite is Kauai, Hawaii. I go above and beyond for all of my clients and love hearing about their experiences on their travel adventures.

Travel Brings Power and Love back in your life - Travel has been a passion since I was little but never thought it would be my career. I started in the cruise industry 28 years ago working at Princess Cruises and have NEVER wanted to leave Travel. Working at Princess Cruises, Uniworld River Cruises and having my own CruiseOne franchise has helped me learn and grow in this wonderful industry. Now, working as the Cruise Department Manager at Plaza Travel for 10 years, has given me even more strengths and growing experience. And sharing my knowledge with our agents. Once I get talking about cruises, I may not be able to stop. I am always looking for new information and growing my cruise knowledge. I have completed the Accredited Cruise Counsellor (ACC) Certification and the Travel Agency Executive (TAE) through CLIA. I also work very closely with our Cruise Reps to try and find ways to give back to our clients! I have been on over 40 cruises.

Alison Blue, is an Independent Consultant with Plaza Travel a division of Frosch International in Los Angeles, California. Traveling and tourism are in her blood. She was raised in a family of travel agents and travel agency owners. She has been working in the tourism business for over 35 years. Starting in the hotel business, in Sales and then Marketing, Alison enjoyed a long time career until moving onto meeting planning for a large toy manufacturer. Deciding to experience life on the East Coast, Alison moved to New York City and started another aspect of her tourism career as the Manager of the Hotel Marketing and Sales Dept. for Thomas Cook Travel (now American Express Travel). Her main responsibility was putting together Thomas Cooks Hotel Program, which eventually became Fine Hotel and Resorts by American Express. After taking some time off to raise her children she went back to the consultant side in 2010 with Plaza Travel. Traveling is her passion and she has visited nearly every continent. Specializing in luxury leisure travel for couples, families and small groups. She can also appreciate traveling on a budget and the inside workings of corporate travel from her meeting planning days as well. Since I was a child I knew I wanted to travel the world. I watched movies, read books and dreamed about exotic places. As an adult I looked for a career that would take me to these places. I went to travel school and I started out 35 years ago as a leisure agent, planning vacations. After 5 years I switched my focus to corporate travel consulting. I prefer the fast paced, highly detailed corporate travel. My clients come from many different professions. I love being challenged and problem solving. I have traveled to many areas of the world and have many more countries on my bucket list. Although it is not exotic, Hawaii is one of my favorite places to visit.
