Your driver will meet you at the port and bring you into Rome where your expert guide will meet you. Begin your tour on Capitoline Hill and visit one of the oldest museum complexes in the world; the Capitoline Museums, originally founded by Pope Sixtus IV in 1471. Finally visit the ancient Tabularium whose monumental arches overlook the Forum.

Marseille - Half Day Tour - 4 hours
Marseille Shore Excursion. The oldest city of France yet elected European Capital of Culture in 2014, Marseille is continuously changing and offering a contrast between tradition and modernity. Worldwide known for its old port, turquoise calanques and typical provencal markets, do not miss the visit of the third city of France!
9:00 am or 2:00 pm: Be met at the foot of your cruise ship in Marseille’ port.
You will visit Marseille, the largest and most popular commune in France after Paris, also the third largest metropolitan area in France. You can start your visit for example with The Pharo promontory that was just a mere rocky plateau on which only rushes and wild grasses grew, but Napoleon decided to build "a house at the water's edge"; the residence was never actually used…but became today one of the finest architectural complexes in Europe!
The guide will drive you to the famous Notre Dame de la Garde, « Our Good Mother » as the Marseillais call her with affection; the 19th century impressive church dominates the city and the view from the churchyard is just astonishing. Inside, you will see dozens of ex-votos, many of them in the shape of boats placed there by grateful sailors. The tour will continue with a scenic drive around town. Marseille is busy renovating its majestic Second Empire buildings, adding interesting modern architecture and buzzing with the energy of a new Golden Age.
You will pass the Corniche where you will see the most beautiful houses of Marseille, towards the Palais Longchamp, originally the water tower of the town, a very beautiful example of 19th century architecture; the Park Longchamp is today the largest park of central Marseille.

You can start your visit for example with The Pharo. The guide will drive you to the famous Notre Dame de la Garde, « Our Good Mother » as the Marseillais call her with affection. Enjoy lunch at leisure in a restaurant suggested by your guide.
In the afternoon, we suggest a visit of the Mucem (new museum which opens in 2013). This national museum is located on a site which includes the Fort Saint-Jean, a historic monument overlooking the Vieux-Port, and a new building designed by architect Rudy Ricciotti on the J4 esplanade. On the Greek and Roman ruins of the ancient state-city, there is a 12th century chapel that was part of the former Commandry of St. John of Jerusalem, the medieval tower of King René (built between 1447 and 1453), and the Tour du Fanal erected in the 17th century at the request of ship-owners to light up the entrance to the harbour, surrounded by various military fortifications. The MuCEM's location is therefore a location steeped in history and memories, at the heart of a prestigious heritage site - Cathédrale de la Major, Eglise Saint-Laurent, with views of the Palais du Pharo, and the Abbaye Saint-Victor, the sea and the islands of Friuli - overlooking "the Suez and beyond".

Your driver will meet you at the port and bring you into Rome where your expert guide will meet you. Begin your tour on Capitoline Hill and visit one of the oldest museum complexes in the world; the Capitoline Museums, originally founded by Pope Sixtus IV in 1471. See the ruins of the Temple of Jupiter and marvel at the magnificent bronze equestrian statue of Marcus Aurelius at Campidoglio Square.
Afterwards, explore the museums, extended over two buildings; the Palazzo dei Conservatori, where you can view splendid frescoes portraying the history of Rome and the Pinacoteca (Picture gallery), and Palazzo Nuovo, where you can admire the wonderful sculptures. Finally visit the ancient Tabularium whose monumental arches overlook the Forum.

Corfu Culinary Experience (Full Day)
Highlights/Description:
Corfu is the ideal place to enjoy a diverse mix of different tastes. The cuisine is inextricably tied in with its history and this is what makes the food here so different from the rest of Greece. The cuisine is neither spicy nor bland, but rich in the flavours of the Mediterranean. Specialties consist of local ingredients found on the island; especially olives, lemons, vegetables, tomatoes and fish. Many dishes hark back to the days when cooks put all the ingredients in a single pot and left it to simmer all day.
Today’s excursion starts with the Old Town of Corfu, where you may enjoy a walking tour of this UNESCO’s World Heritage Site. You will discover the town’s beautiful sites such as Saint Spyridon Church, dedicated to the protector of the island, the charming narrow Venetian alleyways, the famous Esplanade, one of the largest squares in Europe, the elegant Liston where access in the past was only allowed to the aristocracy of Corfu who were written down in the “Libro d’Oro’’, the Dimarcheio, or Town Hall, and the imposing Palace of St Michael and St George. After exploring Corfu historical center take a stroll through the local market.
Your tour continues with a scenic drive through the countryside to Triklino Vineyard, also known as Ambelonas Corfu, which is situated in Pelekas upon a hill with a panoramic view of central Corfu. Here local varieties of grapes are grown around a building of local architecture, in which traditional oil and wine production tools are displayed.
Upon arrival you will be welcomed with herbal soft drink. Get to know the history of the estate, the vineyard, the wild herbs and vegetables, the equipment and the processes for traditional olive and wine making and then spend some time learning about the principles ingredients and techniques of Mediterranean cuisine and the Corfiot culinary culture. You will then follow a step-by-step live presentation of the preparation of a full Corfiot meal – starter, salad, first course, main course, and desert. Participate in the cooking and sample the dishes at different stages of cooking. Our exciting tour begins with a drive to Kanoni, where guests will have the opportunity to admire magical Mouse Island and the Monastery of Vlacherna. There will be time to take photographs to capture this picturesque panorama, before continuing our tour.

Split: Salona, Split & Trogir - 8 hours
Enjoy a full day tour of the city of Split and the surrounding area by private vehicle with a qualified English-speaking guide. Your tour starts with a visit to the Palace of the Emperor Diocletian; this palace was first built in the 3rd century AD, and its outline still forms the heart of the old city today. Also see Peristil Square where Diocletian made his speeches, and the imperial mausoleum that has now been converted into a Catholic church. Outside the palace you will see many charming piazzas. At the end of this tour, you may visit Riva, a coastal walk with palm trees where you can relax in the sun and enjoy a beautiful view of the port and islands nearby.
This afternoon, your guide will take you to visit ancient Roman Salona, the largest archaeological site of Roman and Early Christian ruins in Croatia. You will also see the seven ‘Kaštela’; these buildings were fortifications built for protection from Turkish attacks. Finally you will visit Trogir, known as the ‘Jewel of the Adriatic’. The city is renowned for the beauty of its buildings and fortifications, and is considered to be the best preserved Romano-Gothic complex in Central Europe. Notable structures of Trogir are the City Hall, the C'ipiko Palace, the Loggia and St. Lawrence’s Cathedral whose portal is a masterpiece of medieval sculpture.

Explore Trieste and its charming Miramare castle
This private tour will introduce you to the best features of Trieste and its area, including a mesmerizing castle Miramare, once a love nest of a Austro-Hungarian Emperor. We suppose this is proof that emperors have a softer side, as well. Trieste is a very vibrant city in North Italy, known for its mundane, hedonistic culture of after-work aperitifs, amazing food and fast but pleasant energy of the city. This melting pot of different cultures and religions, resulted in Trieste being a very interesting epicentre of culture today. Just outside Trieste, a beautiful castle is located, built under the Austro-Hungarian reign. Facing the sea, it is situated on steep rocks, and surrounded with romantic gardens that will take your breath away.
