Summit Kilimanjaro on the classic Machame Route—MT Sobek has been leading Kilimanjaro treks since 1974, and five decades of refinement show in our 98% summit success rate, the highest on the mountain. Acclimatization starts with two nights at our private camp on the slopes of Mount Meru. On the mountain, trek from montane cloud forest to the Shira Plateau, then traverse beneath Kilimanjaro's southern glaciers. While most climbers make an exhausting midnight push from Barafu, you'll sleep at Crater Camp at 18,800 feet—leaving just a two-hour sunrise climb to Uhuru Peak at 19,341 feet, the Roof of Africa.
