Ballycastle

Ballycastle is a town on the northern coast of County Antrim, Northern Ireland. This tourist and market town is on the northern edge of the glens of Antrim and is a seaside resort with a beach and small harbour that faces the North Channel. The Holy Trinity church was built in 1756, and the 18th-century courthouse is now a museum. A memorial to Guglielmo Marconi, who tested his experimental wireless by broadcasting from Ballycastle to Rathlin Island in 1898, stands near the harbour. From here you can also visit the geological wonder of the Giant's Causeway and Bushmills Distillery, which claims to be the oldest in the world.
