The Royal Bardia National Park sprawls along the banks of the Geruwa and Karnali Rivers in the Terai region of Nepal.  Approximately 373 square miles (968 sq km) of remote wilderness mark Bardia as the largest and possibly one of the more serene wild areas of the Western Terai. Rhinos and royal Bengal tigers may be found here, as well as leopards, sloth bears, various deer species and over 250 bird species, including several endangered species.
