Space Perspective, the world’s first carbon-neutral spaceflight experience company, is driven by a desire to share the transformative power of seeing Earth from the blackness of space – the quintessential astronaut experience – with as many people as possible. Propelled gently by a SpaceBalloon™, Spaceship Neptune travels slowly at cycling speed (about 12 mph) for six hours and accommodates eight Explorers and a Captain. With no rockets or heavy g-forces, there is no training required. Our experience is not only the safest and most accessible way to travel to space, but also the most comfortable, featuring the world’s first Space Lounge.

Safety & Expertise Space Perspective is the safe, gentle way to travel to space. We employ industry leaders in the design, engineering and manufacturing of our spacecraft and follow standards established by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), NASA, and the U.S. Coast Guard. Space Perspective’s team more broadly has been instrumental in the development of every U.S. human spacecraft for the past 40 years.

Sustainable by Design Instead of rockets, we use SpaceBalloons, (SpaceBalloons™) which are upcycled after each flight. All other components of Spaceship Neptune are designed to be re-flown. We work with Cool Effect and Evergreen on carbon offsets for our operations, and support climate research aboard our spacecraft and launch vessel, Marine Spaceport Voyager.
