Saariselka is located in norther Finland, the village is a popular tourist destination with so many activities to offer its guests. The village alone has 350 inhabitants and belongs to the Inari municipality, which has one of the largest Sami communities in Finland. Saariselka is also home to Magnetic Hill, which was an important part of history to the Finns during WWII. One of the experiences most favorited in the area is the light showings of the norther lights, also known as the aurora borealis. Enjoy plenty of activities in the village, such as skiing, dog sledding and don’t forget to visit the reindeer farms.

Suomenlinna Fortress is the largest in the world and often called Gibraltar of the North.

An easy day trip 30 mi/50 km northeast from Helsinki, Porvoo is one of Finland's most picturesque towns whose old section, Old Porvoo, has 16th-century wooden houses and a row of distinctive red boathouses lining the riverfront. A particularly nice way to get to Porvoo is by taking the sightseeing boat MS Runeberg, which departs from Helsinki (and also stops at Haikko Manor, a famous health spa). We highly recommend getting your ticket reservations in advance and arriving early to catch the best spots on deck, especially on busy summer days.
